Class Trial 66: The Murder of Sonia Nevermind - Part 2: 2ndMIX
What if, like, there was an alternate universe where bears could beat the crap out of chimps?
And it would be, just. Wow. The animal mind is really something else.
A beary good buddy of mine the other day went hunting for elk out in the Pacific Northwest.
Don't know why he couldn't keep a straight face. Might've been the DMT.
Hey, Jamie! Pull that Trial thread up!
Truth Bullets
- Monokuma File: Sonia - The victim of this case is Sonia Nevermind. She was found dead at the bottom of the middle of the Three Lakes between the Casino and Hotel Kumasutra. She died during night time. The cause of death is asphyxiation.
- Winter Wear: The victim was found wearing generic winter clothes to stay warm such as a jacket, pants, and some gloves. In addition, instead of her trademark neck ribbon, the victim was found wearing a fluffy red neck scarf.
- Sonia’s Shoes: Extensive scuffing marks on the back of the victim’s red high heels and tears on the back of her black leggings were discovered.
- Sonia’s Scarf: Worn by the victim instead of her trademark neck ribbon. It has been wrapped to cover the victim’s neck. On a free end of the scarf, there is a small hole, and near it are traces of blood.
- The Motive: For the first motive of this Killing Semester, Monokuma threatened that if a murder doesn’t happen in the next twenty-four hours, then he will make their parents forget they ever existed.
- Emergency HVAC Maintenance: A malfunction in the outdoor HVAC system was detected some time in the afternoon, so Monokuma had to repair it overnight. He announced that temperatures in the Courtyard would drop from the normal 25 C (77 F) to -10 C (14 F) during the night. The system was reactivated to normal operation at 8 AM when Monokuma gave the morning announcement. All indoor areas maintained room temperature overnight. After maintenance, the outdoor temperature returned quickly to normal.
- Free Access to the Labs: In the prologue to the Killing Semester, Monophanie announced to the class that all Research Labs at the Academy would be open and its doors kept unlocked 24 hours a day, allowing anyone free access to utilize them.
- Wax Residue: Visible traces of black wax were found at the lower-level Plaza next to a bench adjacent to the TV post.
- Letter to Gundham: Delivered to Gundham’s dorm room some time yesterday afternoon. It reads: “Gundham, I may have found a way to escape. Do not talk to me today. We are being watched and everyone is potentially dangerous. Meet me at 6:30 AM outside the Dormitory. -Sonia”
- Letter to Sonia: Found on the victim’s person during the investigation. It was delivered to Sonia’s dorm room some time yesterday afternoon. It reads: “Sonia, I may have found a way to escape. Do not talk to me today. We are being watched and everyone is potentially dangerous. Meet me at midnight at the Shrine of Judgement at the lower level of the Courtyard. -Gundham”
- Gundham’s Account - Sunrise: Gundham claims to have left the Student Dormitory at 6:25 AM this morning to meet with Sonia outside the Dormitory at 6:30.
- Gundham’s Account - Sonia’s Corpse: Gundham further claims to have found the victim’s corpse at 7:00 AM lying on top of the middle of the frozen Three Lakes. He claims to have attempted to save her by walking onto the ice to extract her from the frozen lake, but in his attempt fell immediately through the ice and passed out to hypothermia shortly after exiting the lake.
- Flattened Patch of Grass: During the investigation just after 9 AM, Gonta, with his extremely sharp vision, noticed that there was a small patch of flattened grass of approximate size 30 centimeters by 15 (12 inches by 6 inches) behind the TV stand at the lower-level Plaza. According to Gonta, taller grasses like those found in the Courtyard when flattened typically do not stand up until twelve hours have passed.
- Rantaro’s Account: In the prologue to the Killing Semester, Rantaro went up to the Ultimate Survivor’s Lab in search of dossiers he prepared at an unknown prior time. Upon arrival, he discovered they were missing.
- Sonia’s Belongings: Kazuichi was granted permission to search Sonia’s dorm room and her belongings during the investigation. Among other things, he found the last book she was reading, “Spooky People and Spookier Places,” which covers cults, the occult, and serial killers, as well as Sonia’s Monopad, which seems to have been there for some time as it has sunk into the mattress. You can read the book HERE.
- Sonia’s Wristwatch - During the investigation, Sonia’s corpse was found wearing the watch on her left wrist. The watch seems to have been broken at some point: its hands are stuck, and turning the crown on the left side no longer changes the time. Monokuma assures the watch kept an accurate track of time up until it was broken. A visual is available in the Truth Bullet Supplements. .
- Sonia’s Wristwatch Supplement - The watch is made by TIMELY, a Novoselic-based watchmaker. It is a simple yet expensive and luxurious golden watch with white clock hands and a rose-pink dial.
- An Account of Wax Dolls: During Daily Life, Angie, Gonta, Kaede, Mahiru, Maki, Makoto, Rantaro, and Sayaka discovered lifelike wax doubles of each student hidden away in the Art Room closet. Knowledge of their existence was kept to themselves.
- Hagakure’s Account: In his “deep memory clairvoyance,” Hagakure remembered that all watches made in Novoselic, in compliance with international standards, are by law required to place their crowns to the right side of the watch face.

Class Trial 66: The Murder of Sonia Nevermind - Part 1: 1stMIX
Let’s suppose, hypothetically, just for the sake of the argument, that you were in need of an explanation of the rules of the Class Trial.
And, further, let’s assume that I am the one capable of providing you, in this hypothetical scenario, with such an explanation.
It must, without a doubt, logically follow that this explanation would be summarized as “you all need to find out who murdered Sonia Nevermind.”
Okay gang? The idea that it would amount to anything other than that is just silly. It’s just... wrong!
Axioms don’t care about your attitudes!

20 Overlooked Single Player Indie Games
Introduction We're all familiar with the Hotline Miami's, Hollow Knight's, and Celeste's of the world. These are some of the indie games that hit the big time. Of course, for every one of these games, there's 100 other indie games that have been glossed over, relegated to a spot in a digital store few people will ever find themselves in. I wanted to bring attention to some of these lesser known indie games.
I'm going to order them according to Metacritic Critic Ratings. Some of the games towards the bottom have a pretty low rating that I personally disagree with, but it's only fair that you hear from more than just me. While the reviews are low for some games, this is partly due to how few reviews there are for some games. #19 on the list has a 49% for the Xbox One version of the game due to it only having two reviews, while the PlayStation 4 version has a 90% rating due to it only having one review, despite both versions being functionally the same. This high level of variance usually occurs when a game only has a few reviews.
Price will include a link to the U.S. store page of the game.
Price is in U.S. dollars.
1. Inertial Drift - Includes a Separate 2 Player Local Competitive/Versus Multiplayer Mode
- Price: $19.99
- Picture: Link
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: Racing
- Metacritic: 84% from 5 Critic Reviews, 80% from 2 User Ratings
- Description: Inertial Drift's distinguishing characteristic is its employment of the right analog stick for drifting. This takes a little getting used to, but it feels great once you get the hang of it, creating some exhilarating moments when perfecting corner turns. The game has 10 unique tracks + 10 reversed tracks, 16 vehicles, and four separate story arcs. Each story arc is only a couple of hours long and features a different protagonist with a different vehicle. Since you’ll be racing on the same track a few times, there are a few gameplay variations that differ from just reaching the finish line at the end, such as racking up a certain number of points that are acquired through longer drift times and other means. There's quite a bit of dialogue between races, and in the races themselves characters will frequently dish out positive commentary on your performance in the form of text in the top left hand corner of the screen. The game's aesthetics are a fusion of anime and synthwave. I've heard many fans liken the game to the manga Initial D, though I'm unfamiliar with that series myself.
- Completion Time: ~3 Hours (for 1/4 Story Arcs)
- Extra Content: There are a number of different modes including a Story Mode, Challenge Mode, Grand Prix Mode, Arcade Mode, two player Split-Screen, and Online, as well as a Tutorial. Completion of challenges in Challenge Mode allows you to unlock new vehicles for the other non-Story Modes. Grand Prix Mode allows you to race using different characters/vehicles through a connected set of challenges, while Arcade Mode is for one-off races. I wouldn't recommend this game for online play as the user-base is pretty small (hence it being overlooked) and you're unlikely to find a match. Getting all the achievements is fairly difficult.
2. Cursed Castilla (Maldita Castilla EX) - Price: $11.99
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: 2D Action Platformer
- Metacritic: 81% from 12 Critic Reviews, 78% from 33 User Ratings
- Description: This is an action platformer that emulates arcade games from the latter half of the 1980s, but it is probably most reminiscent of Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts. The creator, Locomalito, states that the soundtrack uses the true arcade sound of the YM2203 chip. The game is hard, but the checkpoints are never more than a minute or two apart, and the lives' system/continue system has no penalties outside of locking you out of achievements. This is a very boss dense game - in the ~4 hour run-time it takes to complete the game, you fight 19 bosses. The handful of weapons and items you pick up helps lend variety to the combat, and no two boss fights feel the same.
- Completion Time: ~4 Hours
- Extra Content: The game has two endings. Most players will get the bad ending the first time around and be locked out of the final stage (which is the longest stage in the game). You do have to play through the game again to get the good ending, but you'll likely do it in half the time. If you want to see all the major content on your first go around, I recommend looking up how to get the good ending before you play the game. If you do achieve the good ending on your first playthrough, the completion time is probably closer to six hours. As far as achievements are concerned, 100% completion is very difficult to obtain. If you like an extreme challenge, this one's for you.
3. Valfaris - Price: $24.99
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: Run & Gun
- Metacritic: 80% from 8 Critic Reviews, 79% from 9 User Ratings
- Description: Valfaris acts as a continuation of Slain - the developer's previous work - but it’s not necessary to play Slain first to understand the story of Valfaris. While Slain was mostly just a slightly above average action platformer, Valfaris is one of the best run & gun games I've ever played. You play as Prince Therion who returns to his home planet of Valfaris on a quest to kill his father. It's themed around a fictional planet and has a gross alien vibe coupled with heavy metal music. The music doesn't override the other audio in the game, and it does a nice job of upping the ante when you're fighting a boss – of which there are many. You're equipped with a primary gun, a more powerful mana-based gun, a sword, and a shield that can block with mana or parry.
- Description Continued: There are a number of weapons to acquire throughout the game, and the guns in particular do a great job of feeling different. You’re able to upgrade your weapons with Blood Metals. Some Blood Metals are found in plain sight, others are rewarded for defeating a tough enemy, and some are given for going off the beaten path. These upgrades typically just up the firepower but will sometimes introduce a secondary move to your weapon. There are checkpoints every two minutes or so, and most bosses will have a checkpoint just before them (only the weaker bosses come after a gauntlet of enemies). The game is a little hard at points, but overall it strikes a nice balance of feeling accomplished for overcoming the challenges without getting overly frustrating.
- Completion Time: ~8 Hours
- Extra Content: There are a few secrets to find throughout the game that are off the beaten path, though I was able to find 2/3 of them on my first playthrough. I found all but one weapon as well. The replayability comes from New Game+, which allows you to take all your upgraded weapons into a harder version of the game. Since the weapons all function a bit differently, this can be lots of fun. There are also some achievements that test your skills further, like finishing the game in two hours or beating the game with 10 or less deaths.
4. Pumpkin Jack - Price: $29.99
- Picture: Link
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: 3D Action Platformer
- Metacritic: 80% from 8 Critic Reviews, 60% from 10 User Ratings
- Description: This is a 3D platformer that reportedly takes inspiration from both MediEvil and Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. There’s about equal amounts of platforming and combat in this game. While the combat is relatively simple, you’re given a variety of weapons that all feel unique. The levels have a good amount of variety within them – you’ll jump between ships on a ferry ride, ride an undead horse through the sky, play a few mini games as a headless Jack, and fight a boss at the end of each of the six levels. Both the combat and platforming are relatively easy – platforms are typically large and Jack has an edge grab that helps tremendously, and smashing the many destructible objects around the levels increases your health. This game takes the linear adventure approach, with a number of collectibles sprinkled throughout the levels: crow skulls, presents, and gramophones. Some areas are more open and allow you to choose the order in which you do certain tasks. The game has a decent amount of dialogue in it, which does an effective job of giving some character to Jack, his two animal companions, and the rest of the cast. The visuals and soundtrack are particularly great, especially if you’re into Halloween themed media.
- Completion Time: ~4 Hours
- Extra Content: There’s collectibles to back for – I got about 2/3 of the collectibles on my first playthrough – skins to unlock – which are purchased with the collectibles you find in the levels – and you get to start a second playthrough with all the weapons already unlocked at the beginning
5. Pato Box - Price: $14.99
- Picture: Link
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: Punch-Out-like 3D Action Adventure
- Metacritic: 80% from 1 Critic Review, 80% from 1 User Rating
- Description: Pato Box follows an anthropomorphic duck boxer on an adventure through a stylistic noir comic book world. “Pato” is a Spanish word that translates to “Duck” in English (the game was developed by a Mexican studio). The boss fights are heavily inspired by Punch-Out’s gameplay, but there are levels outside of these fights to help differentiate it. Most of the levels can be selected in any order you choose and typically serve as a leadup to the boss fight. Bosses are usually introduced by a cutscene followed by some dialogue taunting Pato Box. The levels play entirely differently from the fights, but the themes of the level match those of the bosses. The levels will employ various elements of evasion, stealth, exploration, and a few time-based mini-games. The casino level, for example, will have you walk around the casino looking for chips and punching the slot machines to earn enough to pay entrance to the fight, while the food factory has you evading stompers, sawblades, and butcher knives as you work your way through the level.
- Description Continued: There are variety of things to find throughout the levels: tokens for decorations in Pato Box’s room, backstory on the boss of the level and the world, and tips on how to win the upcoming fight. The fights themselves lock Pato Box in the middle of the screen, allowing you to block, juke left or right, and perform a low or high jab to the left or right. Bosses are dynamic and have a number of different phases to fight through. The game foregoes a HUD in favor of a visual representation of your health via scars on your body, which I thought was a nice touch. While the levels and bosses play pretty differently from each other, they’re weaved together by a dark and intriguing story that follows Pato Box’s quest for retribution against an evil corporation.
- Completion Time: ~7 Hours
- Extra Content: There’s an Arcade Mode that lets you replay boss fights and some collectibles to find in the main campaign. The achievements are very difficult, and many ask you to beat a boss without taking a single hit.
6. Ultra Hat Dimension - Price: $4.99
- Picture: Link
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: 2D Level-based Puzzle Game
- Metacritic: 80% from 1 Critic Review, 60% from 1 User Rating
- Description: Ultra Hat Dimension follows Bea through a series of rooms in a palace on a quest to undo the magical spell that has made the mythical Spluff creatures want to attack one another. There is a little bit of backstory via one sentence thoughts from Bea in between levels, but nothing major here. The gameplay revolves equipping four different types of hats and using them to evade or push Spluffs around to retrieve the key and reach the door. Each Spluff dons one of four different hats which effects their behavior towards other Spluffs and you. You will be punched one tile back by every Spluff unless you’re wearing the same hat as the Spluff. Spluffs interact with one another differently depending on what hat they’re wearing in a rock, paper, scissors kind of way – they may punch a Spluff back one space, get into a scuffle that allows you to get close to them without wearing a hat, or they may temporarily disable them in a way that allows you to access the space the Spluff consumes within eight moves. There are undo and reset buttons included that allow you to quickly rewind mistakes. There are some clever puzzles accompanied by catchy tunes and a charming pixel art aesthetic. The difficulty is about average.
- Completion Time: ~3 Hours
- Extra Content: Since this is published by Ratalaika Games, getting all the achievements can be obtained after only clearing 2/3 of the levels. There are a few custom maps on the PC version of the game but no additional content on consoles.
7. Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight - Price: $9.99
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: Metroidvania
- Metacritic: 77% from 6 Critic Reviews, 72% from 15 User Ratings
- Description: Usually with Metroidvanias, I expect a long, difficult game that's difficult to navigate. Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight is a counter to those ideas while still maintaining the exploratory nature of the sub-genre. The plot is pretty simple and doesn't feature a ton of story, but there are a few NPCs you talk to throughout your quest. The combat is also fairly simple, but the boss fights you engage in are all great. Without much weapon customization, it's stripped to the basics of dodging enemy attacks while trying to get a hit in. It makes for a game that's easy to get into and instantly start enjoying. All of the areas are visually appealing, some more than others, and each of them lasts shorter than you'd expect. The game is only around 3-5 hours, but it feels like you've played so much more in that time. Some games only really start to take off by the time this game finishes.
- Completion Time: ~4 Hours
- Extra Content: Getting 100% map completion should only take an hour or two of cleanup. I did miss an optional boss on my first playthrough. There are also items to discover, and the achievements give fun challenges to extend the life of the game. One cool thing I liked was that beating a boss without getting hit at all gives you a useful item. It also features New Game+, allowing you to carry over most of your items, making the game more difficult, and changing up enemy placement.
8. The Count Lucanor - Price: $14.99
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: Top Down Adventure/Horror
- Metacritic: 77% from 3 Critic Reviews, 80% from 1 User Rating
- Description: The Count Lucanor’s story is very fairy tale-esque – more like a classic fairy tale as it can be pretty dark and grotesque at times. On his 10th birthday, Hans chooses to leave his mother in a quest for wealth. After some walking and conversation with NPCs you find along the way, you stumble upon a large mansion and find that the count of this mansion is looking to pass his wealth onto an heir who can prove himself worthy – “worthy” in this case being the one who can figure out the count’s name. From here, you are tasked with adventuring through the mansion and solving environmental puzzles in a nonlinear way to acquire the letters that spell the count’s name. There is a survival horror element to the game, as you are unable to attack the enemies in the mansion and instead must crawl under tables and find other ways around them. You can place candles around the mansion to light it up to help you better evade enemies, but your usage is limited (though you can find more).
- Completion Time: ~4 Hours
- Extra Content: There are five different endings and some puzzles/rooms you don’t even have to do. This could double your playtime – maybe even more if you don’t use a guide. You have to get all five endings and do some other miscellaneous stuff to get all achievements, but it has a relatively high completion rate.
9. Late Shift - Price: $12.49
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: Interactive Film
- Metacritic: 72% from 16 Critic Reviews, 70% from 36 User Ratings
- Description: If you liked Detroit: Become Human or Until Dawn, Late Shift will be right up your alley. This game is a bit different from both those titles in that it's an FMV, with the gameplay solely consisting of the choices you make. You receive prompts at key moments in the story on what you want your character to do next, and this effects the outcome of the game. It plays more like Black Mirror's Bandersnatch, though this game came before it. The story follows an everyman who gets tangled up in London's criminal underground just as a result of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
- Completion Time: ~1.5 Hour Completion Time*
- Extra Content: There are 180 choice points and 7 different endings. I only got 4 out of 21 of the achievements on my first playthrough. There are a number of different routes to take with the game.
10. Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure - Includes a Separate 4 Player Local Competitive/Versus Multiplayer Mode
- Price: $29.99
- Picture: Link
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: 3D Collectathon Platformer
- Metacritic: 71% from 10 Critic Reviews, N/A from 0 User Ratings
- Description: Unbox takes heavy inspiration from Banjo Kazooie and other collectathons of the fifth generation but has levels far larger than any Nintendo 64 platformer. Fortunately your customizable character can cover huge amounts of ground very quickly via the unbox mechanic, which is basically a super jump you can use up to six times before you need replenishment via item pickups or checkpoints. Both the jump and unbox mechanic are tied to the shoulder buttons, which takes some getting used to but is ultimately one I’m in favor of, as it allows for camera control without removing your thumb from the jump or unbox buttons. The high speeds you can travel make for some great exploration, but the game is still able to disable your ability to unbox by giving you a “fragile” item, allowing for more carefully considered platforming sections.
- Description Continued: Each of the three major worlds have four major collectibles: 200 gold tape, 10 caged zippies, 18 stamps, and 1 super stamp rewarded upon defeating the boss of the world. There is also a hub world that has just 200 gold tape to collect. The 18 stamps are the jiggies or stars of the game, and they’re primarily what you’re after to advance the game. 9 of them are hidden across the world, while the other 9 are given by NPCs upon the completion of a task: Digi will ask you to take an item from point A to point B with some platforming in between, Dash will ask you to complete three races around different areas of the map, Superbox will ask you to destroy 20 enemies in X amount of time, etc. The other collectibles simply unlock more cosmetic options for your character.
- Completion Time: ~7 Hours
- Extra Content: The game only requires you collect 2/3 of the stamps to beat the game. If you want to collect all the stamps, zippies, and gold tape, this could more than double your playtime, as the worlds are massive and finding all the gold tape is a daunting task, though they do make a distinct noise when you are near them once you’ve collected half of them in a level. Your friendly companion Bounce will also give you visual clues on where to find whatever collectible you might be stuck on. I was able to find all the collectibles in the first world but three gold tape with next to no issues, though Bounce helped me with the remaining three. I really have to commend the developers for their inclusion of both audio cues and visual guides built within the game to guide you to collectibles – it makes collecting every last thing a lot less tedious. The high speeds of your character allow you great traversal of the world, which also helps with collecting everything. The achievements require you to collect everything. In addition to the single player campaign, there are quite a few local multiplayer modes for up to four players – these include Boxing, Collect, Thief, Oddbox, and Delivery. The developers go into more detail on each mode here.
11. Spark the Electric Jester 2 - Price: $19.99
- Picture: Link
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: 3D Sonic-like Action Platformer
- Metacritic: 70% from 1 Critic Review, 70% from 1 User Rating
- Description: This is the sequel to the original 2D PC exclusive from 2017, with another 3D sequel currently in production. If you care at all for the story, it’s recommended you play or at least read about what happened in the first game. Spark 2 actually follows Fark, another jester. Spark 2 emulates many of the high speed moments found in 3D Sonic games, but brings a few ideas of its own. In particular, action is a bigger focus in this game, though platforming is still the priority. Enemies are easy enough to run past with a few exceptions for mini bosses at the end of some levels and the nine main bosses. In addition, enemies can also add to your score.
- Description Continued: In addition to Fark’s expanded move-set in combat, he also has the ability to double jump, dash, and wall jump. The jumps give you a lot of air time, lending more leniency to the platforming, and the dash is great for building momentum. There’s quite a bit to explore in each level too – jumping off ramps in the middle of loopdeloops will sometimes result in you finding the game’s main collectible, floppy disks. Fark can also acquire four additional costumes found within the levels that offer some variation in abilities. The game offers five difficulties at the start, with it recommending the second easiest option, Normal, as the default way to play your first time through. Bosses on this difficulty are fairly easy provided you’re competent with timing when to use your shield, though I did lose once or two against a few of them.
12. Remothered: Tormented Fathers - Price: $29.99
- Trailer: (Slightly Graphic) Link
- Genre: Survival Horror
- Metacritic: 68% from 7 Critic Reviews, 80% from 36 Ratings
- Description: Remothered: Tormented Fathers feels very old school in its design philosophy - no weapons outside a few self defense items and distraction items. You go back and forth in the mansion and have to learn the layout and where things are to proceed. You have to manually select the key item from your inventory to use on triggers (but a key icon is still shown to guide you a little). The sounds in this game do a great job of evoking tension, and I appreciate that the stalkers don’t seem to teleport, so if you can get away from them, you’ve earned your freedom for awhile. This is the first game in a loosely connected trilogy. The second one - Remothered: Broken Porcelain just released last month, but I've heard it's pretty buggy at the moment and not recommended in its current state.
- Completion Time: ~6 Hours
- Extra Content: There are some collectibles you can go back for, but not a whole beyond that. You’ll probably get most of the achievements – if not all, except the collectibles one - on your first playthrough.
13. Four Sided Fantasy - Price: $9.99
- Trailer: Trailer
- Genre: 2D Puzzle Platformer
- Metacritic: 68% from 4 Critic Reviews, N/A from 0 User Ratings
- Description: The premise of the game is a fusion of side scrollers and oldschool fixed screens that teleport you to the opposite side of the screen when you pass through one side - think Pac-Man, arcade Mario Bros., or Balloon Fight. You will find obstacles in your path that are impenetrable in a typical side scroller, but can be overcome by holding a button to turn the screen into a fixed screen that allows you to pass through one side and out through the other end. This is a totally unique take on a puzzle platformer I haven't seen before, and all five worlds bring something new to the table. For example, World 2 will flip you upside down when you pass through a screen, allowing new types of challenges as a result. There's more emphasis on the puzzle elements than the platforming.
- Completion Time: ~2 Hours
- Extra Content: There is a New Game+, but from what I could tell from the beginning it wasn't a whole lot different. Still, there's an achievement for completing New Game+ and some other fun achievements.
14. SINNER: Sacrifice for Redemption - Price: $18.99
- Picture: Link
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: Soulslike Action Adventure
- Metacritic: 66% from 11 Critic reviews, 53% from 11 User Ratings
- Description: SINNER is a Soulslike boss rush - there are no levels and only small area before each boss to practice your moves. There are eight bosses, the first seven allowing you to fight in any order, each representing the seven deadly sins. You are equipped with everything the game has to offer from the beginning (except for the New Game+ weapon they give you), and instead of becoming more powerful, you gradually lose things with each boss you defeat, hence the “sacrifice” in the title. It’s like a reverse RPG. Each boss has a different sacrifice associated to it – one may deplete your throwing items’ usage, while another will deplete your health and stamina. Picking the best order to fight them in adds a little strategic thinking to the game, as you may be more dependent on your large health and stamina bar more than your throwing items’ usage, for example. The game is fairly difficult, so your victories over each boss feel very gratifying when they do come.
- Completion Time: ~5 Hours
- Extra Content: There is New Game+ that offers you an additional weapon. The achievements task you with a few things you have to pull off in battles, and getting all the achievements is pretty easy to obtain.
15. Tamashii - Price: $11.99
- Picture: Link
- Trailer: Slightly Graphic (Link)
- Genre: Puzzle PlatformeHorror
- Metacritic: 65% from 2 Critic Reviews, 70% from 1 User Rating
- Description: Reportedly inspired by obscure Japanese games from the late 1980s and 1990s, Tamashii blends puzzle platforming together with an oppressive atmosphere. The introduction starts with the character being willed into existence by a godlike character that tasks him with destroying the macabre forces that have taken control of and corrupted his chambers. Your character is able to spawn three inanimate clones of himself which is the primary source for most of the platforming and some of the boss fights – you’ll use them to trigger switches and open up new paths. There’s about an even mix of puzzle solving and platforming, and there’s a whole eight bosses in this short adventure (though one is a secret) that are probably the most visually interesting moments in the game. The creatures and backgrounds are effective in selling the dark presentation of the game. The difficulty is about average – maybe slightly easier than most indie puzzle platformers. There is a sequel currently in the works.
- Completion Time: ~2.5 Hours
- Extra Content: There are a few obscure secrets to discover. You can also play through the chambers again with a score meter, and there are certain achievements associated with getting a good score. Getting all the achievements isn’t too difficult, but you’ll probably need a guide for some of the secrets.
16. Verlet Swing - Price: $14.99
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: 3D Platformer
- Metacritic: 63% from 3 Critic Reviews, 75% from 2 User Ratings
- Description: Verlet Swing’s aesthetic is as intriguing as its gameplay: you are tasked with grappling and swinging yourself across these vaporwave styled levels without hitting anything. The levels are all very short, but you’re likely to play many levels dozens of times before even finishing it… just to get a 1/4 rank. The ranking system is actually very cool, in that it encourages you to find alternative paths or sometimes just building up more momentum to get to the end faster. Most levels do seem to have a set path, but at the same time, with the proper grappling of the mechanics, you can forge your own, which is a game in itself.
- Completion Time: ~7 Hours
- Extra Content: There’s an in game challenge menu that mostly recycles a lot of the base game content – though there’s a particularly funny one that switches the perspective to third person to play as a knockoff Spiderman. You can also go back and try to get the best possible time for each level. Getting all achievement is extremely difficult.
17. Warlock’s Tower - Price: $4.99
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: 2D Level-based Puzzle Game
- Metacritic: 63% from 3 Critic Reviews, 75% from 2 User Rating
- Description: Warlock’s Tower’s puzzles are built around the movement of the player. There are numbers on the ground for the player to pick up – either 3 or 5 – and this gives the player a set number of steps before they die. Your goal in every level is to make it to an exit, and you’ll have to acquire the numbers in an order that gets you there. It is a bit easy in the beginning but eventually works up to be a challenge in the later levels as more elements are introduced: enemies, teleporters, conveyors, and even controlling two characters at once that share movement usage. The game has a very believable GameBoy aesthetic and sound effects to accompany it, and it works for this slower paced tile-based game.
- Completion Time: ~6 Hours
- Extra Content: This is published by Ratalaika Games, but surprisingly enough, you actually have to beat the game and find a few NPCs hidden in certain levels to get all achievements. There are optional levels in each world that don’t have any achievements attached to them, and this should add a few hours to the game.
18. The Bunker - Price: $19.99
- Picture: Link
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: FMV Point & Click Adventure/Horror
- Metacritic: 59% from 8 Critic Reviews, 55% from 11 User Ratings
- Description: The Bunker is an FMV point & click adventure, meaning it features real actors and environments just like a live action movie. Many of the actors involved have been in high profile movies/TV shows as well, including The Hobbit, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and Penny Dreadful. The game takes place in a fallout shelter and follows the last survivor as he tries to find a way outside following the death of his mother, after living 30+ years in the bunker. The gameplay has you solving puzzles and finding ways to proceed to the next area. The story is the focal point of the game though, and it frequently switches between the past and the present to tell its story. There’s a good juxtaposition between the lively past and the lonely present that makes you question how the protagonist ended up as the last survivor. There’s only one narrative choice to make in the game, and it comes at the very end. The game also works in handheld mode with touchscreen functionality if you'd prefer to play it that way.
- Completion Time: ~2. Hour Completion Time*
- Extra Content: You can replay the game and try to find all the collectibles. Most of them give more background on the story. You can trigger the ending you did not choose the first time around by simply reloading the last checkpoint, so there is no need to play through the whole game again to unlock it. Getting all the achievements is fairly easy.
19. Hayfever - Price: $14.99
- Trailer: Link
- Genre: 2D Precision Platformer
- Metacritic: 49% from 2 Critic Reviews, 70% from 1 User Rating
- Description: Hayfever is a precision platformer that revolves around a mailman propelling himself using a number of different allergens that act as power-ups. A lot of the platforming is aerial and typically has you catching allergens mid-air to perform maneuvers in quick succession. It's not an easy game by any means, but it has oddly relaxing music to accompany the rather intense platforming. There are also letters to collect in each level to steepen the challenge and some secrets to discover too. It takes an hour or so to get used to the aerial platforming, and this is one of the few 2D platformers played better with the analog stick rather than the D-Pad. But letters that seemed unattainable to me at the beginning of the game became much simpler by the end, as I had mastered the controls and physics of the game. I’ve played a ton of 2D platformers, and this is one of my favorites.
- Completion Time: ~8 Hours
- Extra Content: It'll take another 8 hours or so to collect all the letters and probably about 6 hours or so to beat the Hard World, which features an additional 28 remixed levels. There are also secrets to uncover, but they don't net any in game progress and only work towards your achievement completion. Finding these secrets will probably vary more in time because they are hidden, but expect them to take a few hours to find. Just to clarify, letters are an expanded test of your platforming skills and are all in clear view of the screen, while secrets are a test of your observational skills and take a little more digging to finish. Attaining all achievements is a fair and rewarding challenge that took me about 25-30 hours to get.
20. Cybarian: The Time-Traveling Warrior - Price: $4.99
- Picture: Link
- Trailer: Trailer
- Genre: 2D Action Platformer
- Metacritic: 48% from 2 Critic Reviews, 75% from 2 User Ratings
- Description: Cybarian has an interesting yet simple combat system that distinguishes itself from most action platformers. Instead of mashing the attack button, you have to press it once, wait two seconds for the animation to complete, press it again, wait two seconds for the animation to complete, and then press it again to complete a full combo. It sounds like something that's easy to get down quickly, but I found myself still occasionally going too quickly in the intensity of a boss fight. The game punishes you by not fulfilling the attack if you button mash. After each boss fight, you unlock a new move that will be required to fell some foes in the next stage. Conversely, you can play Hard Mode which unlocks all moves right from the get-go, but you'll have to beat all four stages without dying. "Hardcore Mode" would've been a more apt description of this difficulty setting, I feel.
- Completion Time: ~1.5 Hours
- Extra Content: Just like with Ultra Hat Dimension and Warlock’s Tower, this is a Ratalaika Games published game, so getting all the achievements can be achieved in under an hour. It would've been nice if they pushed you to beat Hard Mode, but you'll just have to settle for internal gratification instead.
Conclusion My top 5 on the list in order would be the following: (1.) Hayfever, (2.) Valfaris, (3.) Cursed Castilla: (Maldita Castilla EX), (4.) Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight, and (5.) Pumpkin Jack.
Have you played any of these games? What are some other overlooked single player indie games?

Class Trial 66: The Murder of Sonia Nevermind - Part 3: 3rdMIX
Physics, ciphers, and motives, oh my!
I'm beary impressed. Divine intervention really is a mystery-solving tool!
- Autopsy Report: At the victim’s neck, there is a round hole approximately 50 millimeters (2 inches) wide that goes completely through. The victim’s larynx has been destroyed, and a mass of blood accumulated in the victim’s airways to totally restrict breathing after the hole was created. An estimated time of death cannot be produced.
- Letter from an Accomplice: A letter found on Sonia’s person without a sender name or recipient. The sender claims to know the recipient’s secret and solicits their services to be an accomplice to whatever murder plot the recipient desires. The full text of the letter can be found in Supplements.
- Secret Message: Upon counting the number of letters between each apostrophe in the Letter from an Accomplice and then turning that number into a letter (1=A, to 26=Z), the letter in secret reads “HIT ORDER. KILL SONIA. MIDNIGHT. DEUS SALVET.”
- Autopsy Report Supplement: A limited chemical analysis reveals heightened levels of adrenaline prior to death, suggesting the death was not instantaneous. Further, no indications of a gunshot wound could be observed on the victim.
- Motive Anti-Cheat (MAC): After the body was discovered, Monokuma met in private with Byakuya during the investigation. According to Monokuma, Byakuya didn’t act in the spirit of the motive and convinced someone else to kill by authoring all the letters involved in this murder. This renders Byakuya the sole accomplice to the murder. Subject to punishment, he may not reveal the blackened’s identity.

New World Hope: Chapters 3 and 4 (spoilers for New Vegas)
Spoilers for New Vegas and DLCs!
Preface: I've already sent the first 2 chapters, feel free to go to my post history if you want to catch up. This is essentially an attempt at making a cohesive, interesting post-ending story with actual complexity and realism.
Chapter 3: End of Interview
"–There's a future to be found in Vegas, and the Mojave. I like to call it, 'New World Hope'. We don't need to repeat the mistakes of history. We can have unity without assimilation, freedom without chaos, prosperity without corruption. And while it starts with me, it ends with you. Every single one of you."
"Those are some damned fine words, coming from a man such as you I'm inclined to believe them. This has been Mr. New Vegas, interviewing the man, the Courier, Ethan Webb! Next up we have a new song on this here radio, and its a good one. By Dean Domino, here's 'I Take A Lot of Pride in Who I Am'. I hope you all like it, this is Mr. New Vegas, signing off."
Chapter 4: Assassination
"Boss, got a sec?" "Sure, Raul."
"It ain't my business, but you got a plan?"
"For Vegas?"
"Yeah, boss. Do you?"
"No, not really. I wouldn't worry."
"You're sounding a bit crazy there."
"The world's what we make of it, Raul. I won't miss my chance to shape it."
"Alright... but try not to break it, boss." "I'll do my best. You with me?"
"Always."
A Vaquero and a Courier walked into Vegas, and people stood and stared as the Lucky 38 opened its gaping maw once more.
Securitrons kept the crowd in order, and as the masses gazed upwards at the grand tower of Vegas, and the lucky few watched the duo in awe, a part of the old world was reborn.
Mr. House, were he still living, might have let out the littlest smile, as the word 'celebrity' had been reborn. Perhaps, this time, with new meaning.
And, if truth be told, the Courier was smiling too.
However, it was short-lived.
First came the flash of light, from a window in penthouse of the Ultra-Luxe. Next, the impact of a .50 MG bullet, ripping through the chest of Mr. Webb. Last was the thunder of the Hécate II.
The aftermath was a panicked stampede of men, rushing for cover within one casino or another.
Doctor Usanagi, who had intended to meet with the Courier later that day, made her way through the crowd, and with Raul's help she dragged him back into the fortress of the Lucky 38.
For once, the odds were not in his favour.

I think MGS community sucks
I made a post here informing about the re-release of MG1, MGS1 and MGS2 on the PC via GOG and encouraging people to buy to motivate Konami to re-release the other games for PC and more platforms ... the post has been removed by the moderators, thanks! =)
This is not the only problem, I see a lot of people complaining about the price that is very expensive and saying that they will not buy. I agree with that but there is always a sale discount promotion on GOG so give it a try and add the game to your wishlist at least, this is free and it shows the company you are interested in. When the game enters into a sale discount promotion you will be notified by GOG. If you think the new price fair, buy it!
And I also see people saying "F*ck Konami" and "I will not give Konami my money". I agree that Konami is far from being a good company, but it is who owns the franchise rights. If you do not buy, they simply will not re-release these old MGS games ever again as it will be a loss for them and no company wants that.
Then there is no point in complaining on the internet that Konami kill MGS series, that Konami does not re-release old MGS games, does not remaster old MGSgames or even does not remake old MGS games. If nobody is going to buy, why are they going to make a loss doing it???

Diamond Casino Guide
Diamond Casino Guide: So you decided that you wanna rob a casino, great! The Diamond Casino Heist is one of the best ways to earn money, but you're wondering, how do I get started? Well you're in luck! This guide is going to teach you the ways to get the best out of the Diamond Casino Heist!
Step 1: Arcade Alright to get started, you’re going to have to own an arcade. Now, it may seem better to go for the arcades on the top of the map to save yourself some cash, however this will make all the preps much harder, as most of them take place in LS or Sandy Shores.
The best arcade locations are 8-bit ($2,530,000, located in Vinewood) and Videogeddon ($1,875,000, La Mesa). When buying your arcade, none of the upgrades are necessary, as most of them are cosmetic. You’ll have to complete a quick arcade setup mission to access the basement where the diamond casino heist planning board is located.
Step 1.5: Arcade Income While this isn’t related to the diamond casino heist, I thought I would put this in there. The arcade generates income based on how many games you have, going up to 5k per in-game day (48 min). The game doesn't matter, so you can just buy the cheapest one (Monkey’s Paradise, $90,000) and fill up your arcade with it.
Step 2: Scope out casino After you’ve finished watching Lester scribble a big mess over the whiteboard, you’ll be able to start the casino heist. Normally, you’ll have to pay a setup cost of 25k, but since it’s your first time doing it, it’ll be free. After you’ve confirmed that you want to start the casino heist, you’ll need to finish the scope out mission. For the scope out mission, you’ll need to take a variety of pictures for lester in order to unlock entrances for the heist.
A full guide is linked here but I’ll sum up the most important ones.
- Staff Lobby: This entrance is arguably the best entrance for the Silent and Sneaky approach. It gives you easy access to the control room where you can get the daily vault easily. It is also the best exit for most approaches as not many guards patrol it. The staff lobby should be around the back of the casino, and should look like a white door behind some yellow bollards.
- Security Tunnel: By scoping out this entrance, it gives you the ability to enter the casino as a Gruppe Sechs team for the Big Con. This entrance is the best if not one of the best approaches to the casino heist. The disguise will allow you to go straight to the vault undetected and back up, however you will be detected when going back out of the casino on the casino access floor, so I would suggest getting some exit disguises to make your escape easier. The security tunnel should look like a big metal garage door with a security camera watching over it under the racetrack.
- Sewers: The sewers allow you to burrow down right into the vault access floor giving you easy access as you are right next to the vault mantrap. The sewer exit, however, is only available in the aggressive approach.
- Roof Terrace: At first glance, the roof terrace may seem like a horrible entrance/exit, however as it turns out, the roof terrace is actually a contender for one of the best aggressive exits. By taking the roof terrace, you can shoot down the guards at the racetrack while them not being able to shoot back and then parachute down.
You’ll only need to do this mission once, and it will be completed for all future casino heists.
Step 3: Vault Contents The vault contents mission is pretty easy. You’ll be given the rough location of a duggan security guard, once you find him, you can either hack him, which can take some time but you won’t get the cops on you if you do it right, or you can kill him and grab the phone, which will save you some time but you’ll need to lose the cops before you can enter the casino.
After you’ve entered the casino, you’ll need to bring out the sightseer app on your phone to find a wifi signal. After you’ve located the wifi signal, you’ll need to figure out the vault contents. Beware that you only have a limited time to do this (2 min).
Since it’s probably your first time, I would recommend that you go through every camera to scope out each POI. The target will be cash since it’s your first time, which has a payout of 2.1 mil on normal. The first time will always be cash (payout of $2,115,000 on normal), but if it’s not your first time, the targets can be either cash, artwork (payout of $2,350,000 on normal) or gold (payout of $2,585,000 on normal).
There is a 4th target, which is diamonds (payout of $3,257,100 on normal) however this vault content is only available for special occasions and has been removed from the vault contents.
If you do the heist on hard by doing the same approach after you’ve done another one, the payout will be 10% larger. If you’ve completed all 3 approaches to the heist, you can cancel the heist which can be helpful if you’ve got a bad target.
Link to this is here. Step 4: Selecting your approach Once you’ve finished the vault contents mission, you’ll be able to select your approach.
There are 3 approaches to the diamond casino heist. Silent and Sneaky, The Big Con and Aggressive.
For beginners, I would recommend alternating between Big Con and Aggressive, because those are the easiest ones. For Big Con, choose the Gruppe Sechs disguise for the easiest entry. Aggressive is good for newer players however it does end up in a lot of money loss. After you’ve got the gist of it, alternate to doing Silent and Sneaky in place of aggressive for a bigger payout.
Step 5: Selecting your support crew After you’ve selected your approach, you’ll need to select your support crew before you can do any of the prep missions.
Selecting your support crew is very simple. You’ll need a gunman to source guns, a driver to source cars and a hacker to delay the nerve agent inside the vault.
Selecting your support crew depends on the approach and target in the vault. For Big Con, SnS, any any target
EXCEPT for art, you’ll want the worst gunman (Karl Abolaji, take his Micro SMG on big con, heavy revolver on aggressive and on SnS the choice is up to you), the worst driver (Karim Denz, take his sentinel classic) and the best hacker available to you, for most people, this will be Paige Harris (unlocked when the terrorbyte is purchased, gives 3:25 in the vault when undetected and 2:23 detected).
For aggressive, you’ll still want to have the worst driver and best hacker, however the gunman is up to you since you’ll be using guns a lot. I normally go with Charlie Reed (unlocked when purchasing a hangar), he takes a 7% cut (2% more than Karl) and gives you an assault smg, however you can get by with Karl, as every gunman gives you a SMG to go along with another weapon, which is still a perfectly fine weapon.
For Big Con, SnS and the target is Art, if you and your heist partner can both hack very well, you can get by with Yohan Blair (takes a 5% cut and gives you 2:51 in the vault if you are undetected and 2:01 if you are).
Step 5.5: Secret heist crew members There are 2 hidden heist crew members that can’t be unlocked by purchasing a business like most heist crew members. There 2 are Patrick McReary and Avi Schwartzman. Patrick McReary is a gunman who takes an 8% cut and gives the choice a Combat MG or an Assault Shotgun in aggressive. Avi Schwartzman is a hacker that takes a 10% cut and gives 3:30 undetected in the vault and gives 2:22 if you are detected. To unlock Patrick, he spawns as a random event around the map. He spawns in a police car that you will need to hijack.
A guide is linked here. To unlock Avi, you’ll need to destroy 50 signal jammers that are located around the map.
A guide is linked here. Step 6: Prep Missions Now that you’ve selected your support crew, you’ll be presented with a plethora of prep missions. Some mandatory and some optional. To complete these missions, I suggest that you use a Kuruma, Buzzard or Oppressor Mk2 to make your life easier. In some prep missions, you will not be able to call lester, so be prepared. All of the missions can be done solo but it makes it easier if you have a friend with you to help you out.
Now onto the optional prep missions. Optional prep missions, are, as the name suggests, optional. The optional prep you should do depends on the approach. If you own a penthouse and have completed all of the missions, you will gain access to the security intel mission. It’s very easy to complete and you will only need to do it once. A nice trick is that the gauntlet actually spawns when you start the mission, not when the cutscene is triggered, so you can just shoot the driver and take the gauntlet. A guide will be linked below.
Let’s start with Silent and Sneaky. For Silent and Sneaky, the optional prep missions depend on your skill level. If you’re an experienced player, you don’t need to do much, only level 2 security passes. Power drills you can do if you think you have enough time. However if you are a very new player, I’d recommend that you do patrol routes, duggan shipments (you only need to destroy 3 to get rid of their bulletproof helmets), level 2 security passes, emp device and infiltration suits and power drills if you think you have enough time. If you do all these, the heist should be a breeze.
Going onto the Big Con, if you’re doing Gruppe Sechs, you don't need to do much. You only need to go through one door if you exit out the staff door, so you can decide if you want to do level 2 security passes or not. Patrol routes do make things easier, however are not necessary. Again, only do power drills if you think you have enough time. Make sure you do exit disguises. Noose and firefighter are exactly the same, so do firefighters since it has the easier mission.
For aggressive, again, patrol routes make it easier, but are never necessary. Make sure to do duggan shipments. You can solo it, but it will be much easier with another person. If you don’t get them all you can just close the game and you’ll be able to do the mission again. Reinforced armour allows you to take more damage, so I would recommend it even if it makes you slower. Be sure to also do boring machine as it allows you to enter through the sewers. Make sure to also do level 2 security passes unless you really like hacking doors.
Step 7: Finding people to play with Now that you’ve completed all your required prep missions, you need some people to play with. If you don’t have any friends to play with, I recommend checking out
HeistTeams or the
GTAO Discord LFG Channels to find people to play with. Make sure to have good communication between your teammates otherwise the heist will be in chaos.
Step 8: Completing the heist Now that you’ve got a solid heist crew waiting to grab all of that sweet loot out of the casino’s vault, you’ll be able to start the heist. If you're doing aggressive, the plan is pretty simple, shoot your way in, grab the loot, then shoot your way out. The easiest entry for aggressive is sewers, and the easiest exit is the eastern roof terrace. If you exit through the staff lobby, you’ll get shot a ton when going over the racetrack, however if you exit through the roof terrace, you can shoot the guys behind the stones on the racetrack then safely parachute down.
For The Big Con, I’m going to assume you’re doing the Gruppe Sechs approach. By doing the Gruppe Sechs approach, you can pretty much waltz into the vault and back out of it, just be careful that this has some limitations. When going back up the stairwell/elevator to the casino access floor, the guards will have checked the vault and know it’s been robbed, so you disguise ain't gonna work anymore. I strongly suggest getting exit disguises, as they will greatly help your escape. The easiest exit for this is the staff lobby.
For SnS, I’m not really going to go into too much detail here because there’s a full video linked below. What I will talk about is when to use the emp (If you did the prep mission). I recommend emp’ing when you’re at the vault access floor, allowing you to waltz into the mantrap, or when you're coming back up to the casino access floor and are in the mantrap.. Be warned that if you decide to get the daily vault when you trigger the emp, the emp’s timer will run out before you can get to your exit, so plan ahead. The easiest entrance for this is the staff lobby and the easiest exit is also the staff lobby.
Tips and tricks to complete the heist - If you are disguised, do not bump into any of the guards. They will detect you and start shooting.
- In the control room there is a button that you can press to open the door to the daily vault. One person has to hold the button while the other goes in and grabs the cash. This can be done with any approach.
- Running and jumping is faster than just running normally, use this to your advantage while inside the vault.
- Running in first person is actually faster than 3rd, so use this to your advantage when trying to knock out guards.
- Don’t bother trying to escape the cops by hiding in an alley or something, either take your car into the sewers down by the LS river or take the heli that usually spawns on top of the police station. The sewers will result in you losing less money, however will be much slower. I will link both of these methods below in the useful media section.
- Normally when exiting the casino from the staff lobby without any disguise, you’ll need to knock out a guard to the left of the swat fan to your right, before hugging the race track wall and then dropping down. I have found that sometimes if you run, the guard will hear you and detect you, causing you to get shot at. To prevent this, walk up to him making sure you stay out of his FOV then knock him out.
- You walk much faster in the casino if you are in first person, making the vault contents mission much easier.
- In prep missions, you can change any accessory (glasses, hat, ect.) to lose 1 star which is useful on missions where you can’t call Lester to remove your wanted level.
- On some missions, you can lose the cops by entering your Terrorbyte/MOC/Avenger.
- On some missions, you can lose the cops if you accept Lester’s apartment heist invite. This only works if you have a heist active.
- In the hacking device mission where you have to infiltrate the FIB building, you walk a lot faster if you aim down sights on any gun, however if you go into any agent’s LOS you will get detected instantly, so be careful when using this trick.
- You can upgrade your getaway vehicles in the arcade by getting in them and pressing the button showed on the prompt that appears on the top left.

[Thank You] You guys are amazing
Yes, you are.
I'm slowly gaining control of my life again and organizing all the beautiful mail you've sent me. I used to be in such a bad mental state back then, that I would stress out because of grammar, spelling and being the perfect brat I'm not, and made a lot of unfinished drafts that are all over the place. I am really, really sorry for that.
u/HoneyGirlLZ Thanks for the Vancouver postcard. Ohhh, how I wish I could travel to Canada! My two sisters did an english course there but I got so good with English by myself and so bad at graduating at anything, I never got the “graduation gift” that was some sort of tradition. Wait... I haven't actually graduated yet....
u/ImOkReally Thank you so much for this wonderful piece of mail. Your envelopes are just so amazing, they feel like cards themselves. I wish I could decorate like that, but I am very insecure and never make up my mind with my designs. I love the colors youu use, I love your sensibility, your patters, the combinations, everything. They're just so amazing. I try to open them soooo carefully so not to tear them apart. Love it it love it love it. You're so talented, believe me. Inside you told me about yourself and some memories. I read it at my grandma's house and I felt so cozy reading it. I replied to it with what I found around. I sometimes stay at her house when I have to work. I'm gonna try some day doing those cool patters with those stickers and lovely stuff you sent me, hopefully when the festive season ends. I did something similar during october and I found it so relaxing, problem is that when I decorate postcards, I'm left with no space left to writem, haha. I'm planning on buying stamps online, but still can't make up my mind, there are so many and so pretty! I actually have to write a mail to the woman in charge of them at the office and indicate a lot of things manually. Your mails always make me smile and cheer me up Thank you so much.
u/LeeElla Lol, thank you for the Raoc birthday postcard. There you told me about the kid that cried for not being able to blow the candles. Lol, some kids are like that. When I was little I hated that if kids did that, some poeple would light them up again and have them blow them too, and I was horrified because they were not the birthday boys... like stealing the birthday wishes! How dare them! Now I'd be annoyed to see blatant spoiliage of kids. Dunno if I'm using the correct verb, please someone correct me, haha. I'm amazed the wax seal made it safe and sound! it's so cool. I learnt that word finally: Hidrangea. They're one of my favorite flowers. They bring me sooo many childhood memories. So many houses grew them in the south and I loved seeing these flowers made of lots of tiny flowers. My grandma also loved putting some in the dinner table. I also used to like playing hide and seek behind them... until I got scared of spiders. Lol, grandma used to have an apt in a town that actually means "place of spiders" in native's language, hahaha, and I went there many summers. Now it's become so pupular, and badly regulated, they destroyed it. They covered it in buildings and apartments and casinos and entertainment, but the town's capacity was never improved, so now you need 3 hours just to get to the other nearest town, and it's a nightmare, when it used to be 20 -30 mins in this tiny curved road. Also, thanks for the washi and the pretty stamps, I love them so much! what is this one of ""Strawberry driving?"" lol. I wonder what that is supposed to mean, haha
u/Lonelytwatwaffle Yoo!! got your Random-Random acts of cards-card for being random. Thank you so much! I still like doing it. I like thinking that randomizers are like destiny telling me who needs a smile and some love sent from here. I ADORE the dragon stamps you put, so adorable and pretty! Oh, right before quarantine we got a boiler (or heater) when we can set the temperature, so yay, that's how I discovered the wonders of green tea. I used to hate it, but that's because it was burnt! Wow. Quarantine discovery. I ended up liking tea so much, I use a french press to brew my tea, haha, so I get a full liter. So I'll be able to enjoy your tea now! Thank you so much! I also find it super funny all the labels and warnings and adjectives your American teas have, lol. ""Oh no! My tea has 14 mg of
naturally occurring caffeine! But it's not coffee!!"". ""Oh no, I'm a pregnant breastfeeding woman, I need to consult my *healthcare practitioneer * (lol, what a long name) to drink tea, or I won't be legible for suing the traditional medicinals makers
done by herbalists""."" I'm gonna OPEN this TAMPER EVIDENT-MOISTURE PROOF WRAPPED Tea Bag and POUR freshly boiled water in it. COVER it, STEEP it for 10 mins and SQUEEZE it to ENJOY 3-4 cups daily."" Is this bag telling me me how many I have to drink per day?? Wait... do I have to repeat this process 3-4 per day with this single bag??. ROFL. Oh gosh, I'm enjoying this too much. What the hell. So thanks for this HERBAL SUPPLEMENT, with *daily values not established for organic green tea"" and 0 calories!! Hahahahaa. Did you feel worn after scrutinizing all the offers to make this batch of cards? That was quite a nice thing you did. Also, thanks for the sticks and washi, I like the summer vibe they have, I'm going to take them to my vacations.
Edit: The mail didn't lose it. It was me. It got burried in my depressive mess and finding it during this time I haven't got any mail was like getting mail again. Such a huge adrenaline rush, it was awesome. I think life holds these surprises for the moments we need them the most.
u/ninajyang u/shadesoflanternhill Oh wow guys! I had forgotten you guys met! How was is? What did you do together? Oh wow, can't believe it was this same year. Such a weird year. I thought it was going to be the year of the meetups... so many were happening back then! And I was about to do some myself once in Australia and Asia xD. Well, I'm glad to know I have a spare bed in Japan waiting for me now, haha. And a bigger fridge to store a yummy cake I could bake, so you can try it, 'cause you must. Nina, have you set up your next destinations once all this is over? The only one I have for sure is Europe 2023 with friends... and if I can try and stay longer, the better. I actually wish I could go there next year, but who knows!
u/talkingroses Thank you for your adorable little crab postcard with a review of Percy Jackson. I was thinking in seeing if I could find it in the library, but then I remembered my card got expired and I'm not a student anymore so.... I'll have to check other ways of getting my hands on it. (I dun wanna read it in spanish.... so many things get lost in translation sometimes). I can't wait to be able to send to Australia again. Man, who'd have thought? I'd be living there right now if nothing of this had happened.
u/vickiiiie (x3) I'm happy to know my test postcard made it your way the other day, and that mail is working again, because I once promised to try to write the “Rat” Character once I got this cool year of the rat postcard, where you told me it was the hardest character of the zodiac. Challenge accepted! I hope I don't horrify you with all my aberrations xD It looks like a rat skiing. I also loved the cool red envelope with cute stickers and, no kidding, I spent like 5 minutes just staring at the envelope and its texture. Do they have a specific purpose there? The flowers are the same of the rat in the envelope (love it), do those flowers mean something too? Thank you so much for such nice mail!
Also, thank you so much for the 29th of February postcard! You also added a cute cactus seal. So cool, I wanna try one day doing them. I actually wondered.... if you work in February, any February, if you get paid monthly, are they actually paying you more for that month every year? Or they adjust that? Hmmm.... Well, here February is the month were almost everyone, or at least the government, takes vacations, so nobody is worrying too much about that. Well... you might get a day or less of vacations. We didn't because we only took 2 weeks this February, and it got cut short because my cousin decided to get married the 1st, so pretty much everyone in the family had to start their vacations 2 days late, since you spend a whole day traveling. We usually try to travel the 31st. How long you were quarantined? Many people here are still working at home, and I just recently started working in the kitchens again. It's been fun, and I like cooking with a mask on. Feels more clean.
And least but lot last, The first HK RAoC meetup card with
u/vickiiiie and
u/chikadatte !! I loved it so much when I got it! Oh, gosh, crazy times back then! Haha, I wonder why nobody guessed you were going to an American dinner for bacon and eggs. I sent some test cards both your ways, but it seems they haven't made it yet. I wanna give it another try. I need to know if you both are keeping your same addresses though, I have some unsent mail waiting for you guys. Oh, I was sooo looking forward to traveling to HK next year, but my trip to Australia and then Asia got.... cancelled until... who knows when and who knows if that's ever going to work out. Who knows? Maybe the future awaits me with some surprises I haven't imagined yet. Maybe it's better that what I was going to do. Who knows? We'll see.

My trophy rankings of GTAV on the PS4
Hi there, so I platinumed GTAV a while ago and I ranked them based on difficulty, how long they took, and just generally how fun they were to achieve. This also is kind of a walkthrough of some sorts and includes tips for some of the more difficult ones. Oh and keep in mind that this is just my opinion, some trophies can be achieved easier by other people.
And there is some swearing in this, but that shouldn't be a concern considering this is talking about GTAV Pick option C at the end of the game so you don't miss any achievements
- Pimp my sidearm- works on any gun, recommend beating the game and then fully mod a pistol for the cheapest results.
- Los santos customs- beat the game and take franklins car (trust me, do franklin's car) and go to a Los Santos customs and buy every option
- A lot of cheddar- When you finish the game go to one of the stock websites and purchase every stock you can, which means you should be able to purchase 40 million worth of stocks at a time, do this until you unlock the achievement. This should take around 2 minutes.
- Out of your depth- Purchase a boat or call a taxi (if you do the taxi achievement before this one the taxi skips are free) and go to the ocean, drive or swim to the very end and swim down to find a shark, annoy the shark so he will kill you. Depending on how you do it should only take around 5-15 minutes.
- Off the plane- nothing needed to be said here, just complete it.
- Clean sweep- Just stay behind cover and purchase snacks and body armor, and use a gun like a pump shotgun or a one-shot weapon, such as the revolver.
- Trading pure alpha- you can do this anytime within the game, just purchase a stock and then kill yourself repeatedly until next to your stocks a green arrow pointing up appears, sell it and you should get the achievement. Can take up to 5 minutes if stock prices don't go up quickly.
- Three-man army- Play as franklin and call Micheal and Trevor and pick them up, get a wanted level and stay in your car, kill a cop so you can get 3 stars, and start driving away but still have the cops on your ass. Do this for 3 minutes and you should get the achievement easily. Make sure your car has some armor upgrades though.
- Alls fare in love and war- After beating the mission Mr.Philips you are able to purchase businesses when you're able to play as franklin purchase the taxi business for 200k and then you should get a call after a while, do the job and you should get the achievement. The missions themselves don't take a long time, maybe around 5-10 minutes, if you don't get the achievement to try to do another one.
- Red mist- After completing the Trevor Philips industries mission this will just look like standard strangers and freaks, complete it, and then the others should pop up after you finish the one before. Complete all 5 and you should get the achievement. Can take up to 30 minutes to an hour if you're not good at it, I recommend trying to get the gold for all these for another achievement.
- Altruist acolyte- There are certain markers that will appear as you get close to them, play as Trevor and go to the "Domestic" random event, there are a few closer to the location such as the hitch lifts but I wasn't able to spawn them. Drive to the cult and you should get the achievement after the cutscene. Took me around 10 minutes if you use the domestic random event.
- Wanted: Dead or alive: This will also appear as Trevor strangers and freaks, after doing it you will get an email giving a picture of where he should be hidden, you can search it up on youtube as I did and capture him, don't kill the target no matter what, deliver him to Maude and you should unlock the achievement. Took around 10 minutes.
- Kifflom! Play as Micheal and go to the Epsilon Program website, and pay the 1000 dollars to start this, I recommend using another guide for this but whenever you need to do something like wear the robe for 5 days just go to Michael's house and sleep until you are able to go on another mission, and when you need to walk around the desert for 5 miles just walk in a circle. this can take up to 3 hours if not done correctly.
- San Andreas sightseer- Purchase a helicopter for the quickest results but can be done using a car or a boat. Travel around and get 95% of the map uncovered, you can tell if it's uncovered by it being transparent, meaning you can see through the map. The reason why I recommend a helicopter is you also need to uncover the ocean as well, which can be done with a boat but the helicopter is faster, you can either steal one or purchase a helicopter hangar and a helicopter. Took around 5 minutes because I already had a lot of the map uncovered.
- Multi-disciplined- You'll need to get a single gold in only one of the shooting range challenges, triathlon, a flight school lesson, a sea race, a street race (which only franklin can do), and an off-road race. Complete all of them anyway for 100% achievement. This can take up to 30 minutes to an hour if you aren't able to gold one.
- TP Industries arm race- After beating the mission Mr.Philips you need to purchase the hangar after beating the mission, it should cost 100,000 dollars. You get a special marker for the dune buggy and the airplane, there are 10 in total, 5 for the dune buggy (which is mainly just collecting supplies) and another 5 for the airplane (which is also mainly just supply drops) After doing the two quick save your game and reload it for the two missions to spawn. Can take up to an hour if doing the quick save method.
- Crew cut- To easily finish this you either need to make a crew for a friend to join or join a friends crew
and play a contact mission with them to get the achievement.
- A new perspective- Just leave one of the characters in the first person and just wait for the 15 hours or play some of
the story in the first person, I just recommend leaving it on overnight.
- Calling digits- reach rank 20 and have 5000 dollars, call up Merryweather and ask for a backup helicopter.
20- stick up kid- rob every store on the map, can take up to an hour depending on how fast you move to each store.
21- enjoy your stay- for this achievement you need to play golf, play tennis, play darts, arm-wrestle,
win a shooting range challenge, rob a store, buy a lap dance, buy any clothes, buy a tattoo and change your hairstyle. Make sure you win or lose the sports activities because if your teammate leaves in the middle of the match it won't count.
- Three-bit gangster- Pretty simple since ranking up is easy, just play 3x or 2x events or contact missions for the best RP. Can take up to an hour or two.
- American dream- You're most likely going to need at least 1,000,000 dollars for everything, grind the 3x or 2x event or play heists for money.
- 4-bit gangster- Same as a Three-bit gangster but more grinding is required. Can take up to 5 hours of pure grind.
- Full refund- After rank 50 have a friend call Lamar so he can call a thief on you, kill the thief and take back your money. Takes around 5 minutes.
- The midnight club- You can have a friend let you win 5 races by going to the menu-jobs-races and then
invite your friend and have you win 5 with a custom vehicle, depending on the map you play on
(I recommend taxiing, takes around 2 minutes to complete it) this can take up to 10-30 minutes.
- Backseat driver- Do this with a friend, wait for people to join or join a rally race, and then guide them through the map. Once again I recommend making the rally race so you can play on a map you are familiar with.
- Run like the wind- I did this in a solo match, I stole a car, got a bounty, and survived a GTA day (which is around 48 minutes) Move around and don't get kicked, you can die by anything but another player. You can do this with a friend where they have Lester give you a bounty.
- Show off- Use an upgraded vehicle (preferably franklin's personal car) and search up a guide for all locations, ill put a link to the guide I used in the description, while most are easy 10 of them are a complete bitch, and took me around 15 minutes just to do one of them because of the requirements. This can take up to 3-5 hours.
- From beyond the stars/a mystery solved- I can't really decide on which one is harder so I will group them up into one, both took me around 3 hours to do since there are so many. You can use the rockstar social club website or use a guide on YouTube as I did.
- Waste management- After the second heist Micheal or Trevor and purchase the old dock for around 250,000 dollars, while it can be confusing just follow the dot on the map. Took me around 2 hours to do.
- Close shave- Look up a guide, it's pretty much required for this. Buy the buzzard helicopter for the under the bridge and keep in mind not to do too much damage to your helicopter or it won't count, while most recommend stealing a jet from fort zancuddo I instead bought the mallard for 250,000. Took me around 3-4 hours.
- Decorated- In GTA online there are certain rewards for doing certain things such as killing people with a pistol a certain amount of times, every single platinum that I earned were headshot kills, sniper kills (not sure how to be honest) Kill people using melee weapons, kill people using sticky grenades, kill players in GTA online, kill psycho's (I recommend doing most of these in deathmatches) win 10 waves of survival, (it's painful and achievement on its own), rob 20 stores which is also an achievement, pay for 25 lap dances (all you need to do is pay for the dance and then exit it) buy 25 haircuts, have a friend drive you around for a few hours (sit in a car with your friend in it, pretty simple one) Flippin hell (go to a stunt race with a flying car, get high in the air and do the flips) steal vehicles (pretty simple) Achieve the fastest lap in a race (can be done with a friend) land jumps 300 feet in a road vehicles win every deathmatch and race mode (can be done with a friend) participate in 25 races, buy 25 pieces of clothes (just buy 25 shirts) get the most kills in a 4 player survival (not too hard unless you camp all game, can be done with a friend) get the most kills in a gang attack (also can be done with a friend) shoot cop choppers down (when you get 3 stars start shooting the choppers down with a homing missile) win every race mode at least once (needed for 2 achievements) get a tattoo on every body part, win a race in a custom vehicle (needed for achievement anyways) wheelie for over 2000 feet (I don't remember getting this one, but the best way is to do it at the airport) Activate a 2 person key switch (I did this on the diamond casino heist) Complete the fleeca heist finale, do the aggressive approach on the diamond casino heist and earn 1,000,000 dollars and use the elevator on the diamond casino heist.
- Solid gold, baby!- Do the heist setups and the strangers and freaks, every mission and strangers and freaks I got a gold in (not including prologue) was
Franklin and Lamar, Complications, Fatheson, marriage counseling, friend request, chop, the long stretch, daddy's little girl, the good husband, carbon rifles, Mr.Philips, Trevor Philips industries, Deadman walking, did somebody say yoga, by the book, Tow truck, boiler suits, masks, The multitarget assassination, Mr.Richards, Hang ten, Fresh meat, The ballad of Rocco, reuniting the family, Architects plans, doting dad, fire truck, meltdown, stingers, every gauntlet, something sensible, the times come, every Pulling favors, every rampage, shift work, Grassroots Micheal, grassroots the drag, Paparazzo, paparazzo the sex tape, Paparazzo the highness, every vinewood souvenirs expect Al Di Napoli, Exercising demons-franklin, liquidy risk, minute man blues, exercising demons Micheal and Trevor, targeted risk, uncalculated risk, a starlet in vinewood, chasing the truth, the last one, delivering the truth.
I may have missed a few but those were the ones I counted, this can take up to 5-10 hours unless if you already have quite a few on gold. You don't have to do every single challenge at once, so you can try to beat the level as fast a possible, reload it and try to get as many headshots as required for example.
- Career criminal- This one requires pure fucking grind, let me tell you everything I did for the 100% completion. for hobbies and pastimes, I did Stunt plane time trials, 3 medals in every shooting range challenge, won every race (meaning offroad, street, and sea,) won every sport, got par or under in golf (getting par or under is required,) Bail bonds quarry and farm, every flight school mission, every arms traffic race (required for an achievement anyways,) got a private strip club dance, hunting, yoga and parachuting. Only franklin's strangers and freaks are required, my random events were the ATM robbery, Bike theft 1, construction accident, gang imitation, mugging 1, 2, and 3, security van 3, 4, and 6, sportbike theft, a countryside gang fight, a deal went wrong, and the drunk driver. To find out the spawn points of the random events go to the rockstar social club. All 30 misc were buying a haircut, weapon, any clothing, a car mod, a tattoo, and 5 properties, a vehicle from a website, ride the cable car, use the car wash, go on the rollercoaster, friend activities (meaning call up Micheal, Trevor, or franklin as any of the 3 characters) Visit the cinema, bar, play tennis, darts, golf, go to a strip club, 25 stunt jumps, 8 knife flights, rob a store, purchase stocks, watch T.V. (do at Micheals) complete a booty call (Play as Trevor in a strip club and get one of the girls like the bar to the max and drive them to their apartment) 25 under the bridge, walk and play fetch with chop, get 30 submarine pieces (one of Micheal's strangers and freaks) 30 nuclear waste (it's an achievement anyway) get all 50 spaceship parts and letter scraps (both achievements.) This can take up to 10-20 hours, it's a fucking pain.
- Unnatural selection- Holy shit, this took me so fucking long to do, me and 2 other friends grinded for 10 hours straight and couldn't even beat it. Buy max snacks and body armor and the best map to do is the nuclear silo,
there is a certain hiding spot near the stairs and the stairwell that if you hide behind it's super difficult to get shot unless you peak for too long. Use the combat MG, does a lot of damage and can shred through enemy health, be careful at the beginning when getting health and armor not to be out for too long for else you will lose all your health and maybe even die. This took me prolly around 10-30 hours to complete.
- Above the law- This requires so much god damn grinding that I grinded for 3 days straight, I started grinding hard on level 67 and got to level 100 by doing the 3x event "Target assault race" But by the 3rd day, it was this stupid deathmatch where if you die you can come back to life by an enemy dying or some shit, heists are also good ways of gaining RP, and heist setups too. this took me around 10-20 hours to complete starting from rank 67.
- Numero Uno, the requirements for this achievement is to win a single Bike, Land, Sea, Air, Rally, and GTA-Race, win a Deathmatch, Team-DM, Gang-Attack, and Survival (10 rounds), and win Arm Wrestling, Darts, Parachuting, Golf, Tennis and Shooting Range. So not only do you need to complete the survival bullshit but more on top of it, now everything but a rally race, team deathmatch, and survival you can boost with a friend. But even then this still took me around 10-40 hours to complete due to the fucking survival bullshit.

This heist reminded me of how terrible GTA V's stealth is.
In the scouting part, you have to infiltrate El Rubio's compound to gather intel. But this part is a nightmare because all you can do is to crouch and move away from enemy FOV. Since the island is full of guards, once you get caught you go back straight to the party, no checkpoints until the compound. Why not try different stuff? We could dress up as one of these soldiers etc. And yet we're with THIS? Even Casino Heist had much better stealth, it's like MGS compared to Cayo Perico. Why not try different approaches?

Manic Episode Felt So Good Until It Didn't Anymore
TW: SUICIDAL THOUGHTS
I am a full time employee making $56K a year, no kids at the moment, living with my fiance in a one bedroom apartment where rent + utilities is under $1000/month. My fiance makes $55K a year. We live in the Dallas suburbs. We have two car payments, one being a 2016 Chevy Cruz and a 2020 Chevy Equinox. The payments together are under $1000/month. I have 750+ credit score and my fiance has a 620 credit score. Needless to say, we SHOULD be living extremely comfortable with a good amount of savings. Unfortunately that is not the case and it is 100% my fault.
I am bipolar II, so I generally lean on the depressive spectrum, but when I go manic, I go hard. I have worked more hours than slept in the past 2 weeks. I spent $1500 over the weekend on dog pajamas and Christmas gifts and useless things I dont need, but hey it was on sale, why not? I also felt the need to donate to every charity possible (honestly I do not mind that at all).
I also took $250 with me and drove an hour to the casino. I was down to my last $40, I managed to turn that into $500. I was getting riskier and riskier. My $1 bets turned to $3 bets turned into $10 bets. I felt the need to win more money and get more of a rush with each bet. I reached in to grab a twenty out of my purse to realize I was out of money. Some people would have walked away after going up, some would have lost it all and walked away questioning WTF happened. In my manic state, I thought, "Oh well, it was only $250 and I had fun." The ONLY reason I didn't pull out more cash was due to my dad having access to my bank account. I also was tempted to use my credit card, but luckily the voice calling me a moron for even considering that took over. I wasn't upset. I was almost numb.
I then proceeded to go to a barestaurant to get food for my fiance and me. I sat at the bar. I told myself one drink won't hurt. 1 turned into 2 turned into shots. I was blacked out at 08:30 pm on a Monday. My fiance had to pick me up and I was so trashed I vomited on myself, the bed, and the dog. But you know what, I had fun for the parts that I remembered.
The manic was fun until I realized I had $3000 on my credit cards, I lied to my fiance about the gambling (I am a recovering gambling addict and its obviously a work in progress). I got so shit faced, on a Monday, that I was literally throwing up for 24 hrs not being able to even hold down water and didn't feel better until Thursday morning. I shot sky high and it came crashing the fuck down.
I am in the prime of my life. I am not only planning a wedding, but I am planning a future with a house and an amazing husband and 2 kids, and our 2 dogs. Basically the perfect white picket fence american family. Our future consists of a 2 income household where both make above the national average salary. This future in front of me feels like a mask though. Covering up the darkness that fills my mind.
I am planning a wedding which should bring me joy. It creates a bright light guiding me to pure bliss of my future. But unfortunately, we chose an outdoor wedding and a category 5 tornado is coming to destroy everything. This tornado wasn't an unknown. There were warning signs but wishful thinking had it categorized as just a severe thunder storm. It crept in slowly. It was there. It was noticeable. My actions were screaming for somebody to save me. But along with everybody else, I just thought it would pass through, causing little damage. This darkness is sweeping in and it is taking everybody down in its path.
I fear laying in bed trying to sleep because as I try to fall asleep, the darkest thoughts enter my mind. The bright future is trying to over power the darkness but as I close my eyes, the darkness wins. I cry myself to sleep every night in hopes that I can get at least 4 peaceful hours. Unfortunately, my dreams turn into nightmares. I see my life being torn apart. I think about every stupid thing I've ever done that not only hurts me, it hurts my loved ones.
I sometimes wish my fiance and I never met because the sadness and darkness and hopelessness I feel brings him down. It makes him worry about things he should not have to worry about. He shouldn't be wondering if he's going to come home to a dead fiancée. Yet, he chose to stick by me. He supports me even when I fuck up. He shows me the grace that I cannot give myself. I know if my fiance knew some of the things I've done in the midst of a manic episode, he would dump me so fast. I want to tell him these things to relieve him of his "obligation" of staying with me. This way I can end everything and know that I am not hurting the one person who loved me unconditionally. I feel insane saying I want him gone. I feel insane because it is 100% selfish of me to want this. To hurt somebody who gave me everything just because I want to down a 5th of vodka with 50 mg of Clonazepam and some lunesta to make sure I get the job done.
I am a perfectionist. If I finally cave to the darkness, I know I will make sure it is done right. There will be no out. There will be no saving me. There will be no spending a week in a mental facility where they cannot even trust me to have shoelaces. I will be dead. I will be gone. The darkness will have won.
I want to fight this. I want to fill my life with hope and meaning. Sadly, I am getting tired. I am getting weaker. I am one thrown in pebble away from caving. I am praying that this is not my last post. I need to find the strength to get through this. I want to find the strength to have hope and see the joy and meaning my life gives to people. I do not want to die. I do not want to leave an empty hole in my fiance and family's lives. I will not let myself uproot my loved one's lives but I will have the strength to uplift them.
TL;DR: Like a Rollercoaster, you climb all the way up to end up falling ar a fast speed into a pit of despair. I want to die but I will find the strength to live.
